Call to adventure
[2024-07-17 to 2024-07-19]On a fateful day of doomscrolling, I stumbled on a video that said it would be better to start crocheting if you started with stuffed animals.

Don't know why, but that triggered something in me and I imediatelly thought "how hard could it be" and bought an amigurumi kit. To my surprise, despite it saying begginer friendly on the cover, the instructions came with a lot of abbreviations and no notes on how to do any of the stitches. Then off I went to search for a youtube video to help me.
So I learned what was and how to do a SC, INC and DEC and I got my first crochet "ball".

I thought the second one would be better, but things got pretty oval. So I blamed it on using a dark thread and how it was harder to see and count stitches. At this point I felt ready to move to doing a real animal.
